US Fertility is Hiring an Ultrasound Technician (Per Diem) Near San Mateo, CA

If you are an Ultrasound Technician looking for a new opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment where your talent contributes to changing people’s lives, then we want to talk to you. This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.
We have an immediate opening for a per diem Ultrasound Technician to work in our San Mateo, CA office with occasional shifts at our Oakland, CA office. The flexible schedule of up to 20 hours per week includes rotating weekends and holidays. The pay range for this position is between $45-48/hr.

OVID-19 Vaccination:Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area requires all applicants to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before commencing employment. New hires will be required to furnish proof of full vaccination and booster prior to their start date. There may be alternative for an approved exemption based on a bona fide medical or religious grounds.How You’ll Contribute:We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Ultrasound Technician is responsible for:

  • Performs detailed examinations of the anatomy/pathology
  • Makes necessary measurements & calculations
  • Documents results utilizing our electronic medical records
  • Establishes personal rapport with patients
  • Provides explanations of procedures

What You’ll Bring:The skills and education we need are:

  • Ultrasound certification (RDMS) or RN, NP, LVN, CMA, MA with demonstrated experience in the ultrasound field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in performing follicular sonography or less if demonstrated experience in the ultrasound field and/or completes RSC training and sign off process.
  • Current RDMS if certified or RDMS eligible
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Must have vaginal ultrasound experience
  • MUST be able to travel throughout the San Francisco Bay area (Oakland, San Ramon, Foster City, Los Gatos)
  • Ability to access, input and retrieve information from a computer.
  • Knowledge of office procedures and office machines (i.e. computer, fax, copier, etc.).
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in continuous quality improvement, customer service, and team building.
