US Farathane is Hiring a Shipping Coordinator- 2nd Shift Near Austin, TX
- Greet truck drivers.
- Tell the driver what dock to use.
- Help create shippers, confirm shipments (send ASN) and update the shippers.
- Monitor and respond to requests from customers (both email and phone)
- Notify customers when we cannot ship their orders completely.
- Notify plant shipping/management staff when we cannot ship customer orders completely.
- Support shipping personnel as needed to run shipping documents.
- Support shipping personnel as needed to have parts moved from manufacturing/Containment to shipping.
- Make sure truck drivers sign paperwork and then file the shippers for review later.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance

- To apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
