Responsibilities
- Disassemble and assemble surgical instruments and equipment
- Operate sterilization equipment
- Maintain accurate records of all sterilization processes
- Ensure that all instruments and equipment are properly stored and ready for use
- Perform routine maintenance on sterilization equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Communicate effectively with other members of the surgical team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in sterile processing needed, certification preferred but not required
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and equipment
