Job Description:

Position: CNC Sheetmetal Machinery Operator:

Operate CNC press brakes and punches as well as support equipment in the production of sheet metal components used in our products. Must be able to read and understand drawings. Use of inspection tools for checking parts required.

Key roles and responsibilities:

• Operate CNC press brakes, punches and support equipment for production.
• Perform first piece inspections including documentation and run production parts.
• Perform in process inspection to ensure product quality.
• Identify product issues and report back to Q.C.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Move materials within the plant using pallet jack and other handling equipment.

Skills and experience:

• 2 years working experience with press brakes.
• Knowledgeable in reading sheet metal drawings.
• Ability to correctly use calipers, squares, and other measuring tools to verify specified dimensions.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time. 
• Attention to detail, self-motivation, ability to work in a team environment and neatness are essential skills for this position.
