This position is located under the Office of Science and Technology in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Telecommunications Manager for the Radio Communications Branch, Office of Science and Technology. Responsible for management of the radio communications program, while providing technical expertise and operational support to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Bureau's communications systems. Represent the Bureau on multi-agency working groups to develop interoperability standards, evaluate procedures and state-of-the-art telecommunications systems.

MOBILITY PLAN: New employees hired pursuant to this vacancy announcement must sign a mobility agreement.
