US Army Installation Management Command is Hiring an Information Technology Specialist (DATAMGT) NF-03 Near Liberty, NC

Duties

  • carries out highly structured, entry-level assignments in the design, development and maintenance of databases.
  • Assists in returning disrupted database systems to normal operations.
  • Creates reports and manipulates data in response to customer requirements.
  • Communicates factual and procedural information clearly, orally, and in writing. Gathers and analyses basic facts and draws conclusions.
  • Diagnoses and resolves basic data management problems and issues.
  • Applies information security and information assurance policy, principles, and practices.

Conditions of Employment

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier III background investigation.
  • May require lifting and carrying supplies that weighs up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
Experience, education and/or specialized training sufficient to demonstrate a basic IT knowledge and skill in applying:
  • Database management concepts; - Backup and recovery procedures; and
  • Commonly used query languages to create reports and manipulate data.
