What this job involves – JLL is seeking a Pipefitting/Mechanical Maintenance Planner to join our team. The role of the Pipefitting/Mechanical Maintenance Planner is to ensure that all required work and repairs for the facility occur in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner with minimal impact and disruption to the overall facility operations. The Planner is responsible for meeting with the clients to define the scope of work, determining the labor and time requirements, and acquiring the tools and materials necessary to complete each job. This includes interpretation of data from the CMMS work order system (Maximo). What is your day to day? Prioritize all work requests received through Maximo based on client’s needs, equipment criticality, and location. Visit job site and/or meet with client for planning clarification and work scope review. Estimate required labor resources and labor hours for execution of the work request. Create job plan packages including material, job steps, and permits. Document activities required for completion of work order and enter details into the CMMS system (Maximo). Obtain the materials needed through the preparation and submittal of material requests, ensuring that prompt service is provided, and each work order is expedited as quickly, proficiently, and cost effectively as possible. Perform monthly building audits. Assist management in various duties. Work Schedule 7 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday Desired experience and technical skills Required High school diploma or equivalent A strong hands-on background in the pipefitting/mechanical trade. Minimum 7 years of experience performing maintenance repair activities in a process and building services environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience executing preventive maintenance and repairs on various systems such as domestic water, chilled water, heating, steam, condensate, vacuum, DI water. Experience completing preventive maintenance and repairs on various equipment. For example: pumps, fans, motors, air handlers. Experience with planning and scheduling of maintenance activities. Able to interact with all levels of the organization, outside contractors, technicians, architects, engineers, the customer. Excellent time management, interpersonal & communications skills, good team player with a well-organized approach to work Demonstrated proficiency in an enterprise-wide computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) Maximo Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Effective use of technology and tools such as SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Technical/Vocational high school diploma/equivalent, Associate degree in a relevant engineering discipline, preferred. Previous experience working in life sciences GxP environment desired. Estimated compensation for this position is: 75,000.00 – 92,000.00 USD per year The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable.
