US Allergy Consultants, LLC- Baytown, TX

US Allergy Consultants is seeking Medical Assistants or LVNs/LPNs to serve as Allergy Technicians at our clinic in Baytown, TX.

Allergy Technicians perform specialized duties, including allergy testing, preparation of custom allergy serums, injections, ordering supplies, and general medical assistant tasks.

Ideal candidates must possess:

• US Allergy Consultants is seeking Medical Assistants or LVNs/LPNs to serve as Allergy Technicians at all of our clinics in , TX.
• Obtain patient history and obtains vital signs
• Confirm allergy vial(s) with patients
• Perform subcutaneous and intradermal injections
• Enter immunization information and documents in medical records
• Place orders for new allergy vials and supplies
• Provide counseling to non-compliant injection patients
• Check vial(s) expiration dates
• Provide patient teaching regarding allergy injections expectations and reactions
• Prescriptions to patient & pharmacy for preferred Epinephrine device and antihistamine as per protocol
• You will be required to serve as a floater at our other clinics. In instances where someone is ill, or had to call in.
• Understanding of Immunotherapy and the ability to communicate the benefits of Immunotherapy
• Ability to determine the difference between positive and negative allergy test results (based on wheel size)
• Bilingual
• Attention to detail
• Ability to keep accurate records
• Professional appearance/personal hygiene

Job type: Full-time: Monday - Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm

Salary: $18.50-$21.00

Education: High School Diploma/GED or certificate in medical assisting

Experience: **Minimum of 1-years experience in allergy testing

• Previous allergy experience required

Ability to Relocate:

• Baytown, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Required)
