Lifeguard

We provide the opportunity to set your schedule before the season to ensure shifts match your availability. We are looking for Lifeguards available to work the summer season of 2024 starting the end of May.

Must be able to work a minimum of 24 hours per week, full time is preferred. Weekends required (some, not all). We offer paid training and American Red Cross Lifeguard courses!

Major responsibilities include:

• Deliver a 5-star experience
• Maintain an extra level of patience and courtesy to all patrons in and around the water
• Maintain a high level of attention to all members and guests to ensure safety while in and around the pool
• Supervise activities of swimmers by communicating and enforcing rules and regulations
• Be punctual, courteous, reliable and professional
• Always wear appropriate uniform when on duty
• Maintain pool chemistry and cleanliness (ie: pH levels of water, alkalinity and hardness, pool deck cleanliness)
• Always wear appropriate uniform when on duty
• Notify supervisor of any rescues or accidents
• Notify supervisor of missing or defective equipment

Requirements:

• American Red Cross Lifeguard
• First Aid
• CPR
• Reliable Transportation
• Must be reliable, flexible and work well with others
• Some weekends required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
