Urology Specialists is hiring for a part time Credentialing Specialists (16 - 19 hours per week) to join our busy healthcare team. You pick your days and hours from Monday - Friday 8-5, no nights or weekends. This is a busy role covering several duties, so the right candidate will be professional, outgoing, positive, a quick learner and a hard worker. Ability to multi-task is extremely important. Previous medical office credentialing experience is preferred. 

Job Summary - Prepares various documents and handles confidential matters in accordance with clinic policies and procedures. Completes forms/applications for provider credentialing, licensing, DEA renewals, etc. Including maintaining files with copies of CV, CME (tracking credits), licenses, etc. Monitors and reports on credentialing status to applicable staff. Maintains strictest confidentiality. Adheres to all policies and procedures when performing job functions related to Urology Specialists Clinic & USC Ambulatory Surgical Center, Prof. LLC.

Knowledge - Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures and systems. Knowledge of office management techniques and practices. Knowledge of computer systems and applications- especially Excel, Word, and QuickBooks- to be able to generate reports. Knowledge of research methods and procedures sufficient to compile data and prepare reports. Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation. Ability to follow written instructions for completion of documents. Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public. Ability to communicate and present information. Ability to read, interpret, and apply clinic policies and procedures. Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions. Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritize and coordinate work duties. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
