Urology Associates has a full-time opening for a Medical Receptionist in our Templeton Office. This is a busy specialty medical practice with multiple practitioners. Position is benefit eligible (medical, dental, vision and profit sharing/ 401 (k)). Previous experience and bilingual preferred.
Basic Job Description:
- scheduling appointments
- answering multiline telephones
- verifying insurance eligibilities
- requesting insurance authorizations
- submitting verification on benefits for medication/procedural therapies
- appointment confirmation calls
- recall/appointment follow up
- co-pay reconciliations-daily
- checking patients in and/or out for/from their appointments
- scanning/updating patient demographics in EMR system
