Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized and skilled Surgery Scheduler and Diagnostic Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively coordinate surgical and diagnostic procedures. This role requires clear communication skills to interact with patients, medical staff and insurance providers to ensure a seamless scheduling process while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient surgical and diagnostic appointments using our electronic medical record system.
- Coordinate with providers and staff to ensure efficient scheduling and utilization of resources
- Contact patients via phone or email of surgical and diagnostic appointments
- Manage patient records and update information as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with general office tasks as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience in surgical and diagnostic scheduling in a medical office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Proficiency in using scheduling software is highly desired
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
