We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized office / surgery authorizations person to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in obtaining referral or authorizations and benefits for office visits, office procedures and surgeries.

• Review patient charts for clinical need to obtain authorization.
• Call insurance companies to obtain authorization and benefits, collect any deductible or out of pocket max before procedure / surgery from patients.
• Ability to navigate insurance web site to obtain authorizations
• Strong computer skills in data entry, knowledge of Electronic Medical Record software; Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team multitask, prioritizes, and manages time efficiently
• Two (2) years of medical authorization experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
