Our Cheesesteak Engineers are responsible for preparing and cooking Urgie's mouth-watering menu items. This is a busy kitchen, but it is also a fun - team-spirited culture where we all work hard and play hard as well. We are looking for positive individuals with solid work ethic.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Preparing menu items.
• Stocking and Restocking menu items, ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Cooking during busy lunch and evening shifts
• Taking in-house orders from customers via To-Go window, automatic Kiosk and telephone.
• Partnering with management on establishing company culture
• Learn all prep work and food plating techniques
• Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area
• Ability to work busy weekends especially when college is in session
• Willingness to be an inventor, a contributor and teammate to leadership and staff

Qualifications
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service
- Experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Culinary experience with proficiency in knife skills
- Ability to handle meal preparation efficiently
- Previous experience in catering and serving is a plus
- Experience in menu planning and dietary department operations would be beneficial

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
