Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workers Compensation Coordinator to join our team.The ideal candidate must have a strong background in workers compensation billing and possess comprehensive knowledge of workers compensation regulations and processes.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for all workers compensation-related inquiries and communications.

- Coordinate with insurance companies, employers, and healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate processing of workers compensation claims.

- Review and verify workers compensation documentation for completeness and accuracy.

- Prepare and submit workers compensation claims and bills in accordance with regulatory requirements.

- Monitor the status of workers compensation claims and follow up on outstanding issues as needed.

- Maintain detailed records of all workers compensation-related activities and communications.

- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate the coordination of care for injured workers.

- Stay informed about changes in workers compensation laws, regulations, and billing guidelines.

**Qualifications:**

- Minimum of 1 years of experience in workers compensation billing and coordination.

- Thorough understanding of workers compensation laws, regulations, and billing practices, particularly in the state of Texas.

- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications relevant to workers compensation billing and coordination.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in workers compensation or related field.

- Experience working in a healthcare setting.
