Urgent Care of Kona/Kona Dermatology is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Kona, HI

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a positive outlook and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities for the receptionist will include: answering calls, handling paperwork, updating records, assisting physicians and all things medical.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle queries from patients and their family members.
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Greet patients and visitors at the front desk and provide them with the necessary information.
  • Answer the telephone, screen calls, and direct calls to the correct person.
  • Handle correspondence, requests, and forms in a timely manner.
  • Know at least two major insurance companies' plans; i.e. Blue Cross, Blue Shield, United Healthcare, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
