**Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong background in veterinary practices.

We are an Urgent care facility that sees a variety of case types. We have an extremely knowledgable support staff and amazing clientele. We are not open overnight, weekends or holidays. Pay is based on experience and certifications. We are currently not accepting any applications for non-licensed staff.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist veterinarians in routine examinations and surgical procedures

- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results

- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian

- Handle and restrain animals during procedures

- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress

- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans

- Monitor and ensure the well-being of animals before, during, and after procedures

**Qualifications:**

- Certification or Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology

- Proficiency in animal handling, restraint, and care

- Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and husbandry practices

- Experience in laboratory procedures and sample analysis

- Familiarity with equine care is a plus

- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Experience:

• Veterinary experience: 2 years (Preferred)
