Hiring a full time self-motivated and organized individual, for our templator position.

Position Summary

As a Templator, you will play a critical role in accurately measuring and templating spaces for installation of product. Your responsibilities will involve visiting job sites or locations, taking precise measurements with laser templator, creating templates, and ensuring that the necessary information is captured for subsequent phases of the project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Visit job sites or locations to assess the scope of work and gather relevant information for measurements.

• Use precision measuring tools, such as tape measures, laser levels, or digital templator, to obtain accurate dimensions of spaces, objects, or components.

• Evaluate structural or environmental factors that may impact measurements, such as irregularities, obstacles, or spatial constraints.

• Create templates or templates based on measurements taken, ensuring they accurately represent the shape, size, and contours of surfaces, fixtures, or components.

• Utilize templates to develop patterns, layouts, or designs for fabrication, installation, or construction purposes.

• Transfer measurements and template data onto paper, digital files, or computer-aided design (CAD) software for further analysis or processing.

• Communicate effectively with property managers, residential staff, and management.

• Collaborate with team members or colleagues to coordinate measurement schedules, site visits, and project timelines.

• Provide regular updates on measurement progress, challenges encountered, and any deviations from project plans.

• Maintain detailed records of measurements, templates, and related documentation, including photographs, sketches, or notes.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in reading and interpreting job schedules and projections.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot polishing issues.
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Knowledge of Microsoft, CAD, Moreware, Alpha Cam, Google One Drive

· Education: 1-2 years of related field preferred

Physical Demands

The physical demands include, but are not limited to the following:

· Occasional standing

· Occasional sitting

· Constant use of hands

· Occasional walking

· Occasionally carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling items up to 75 lbs.

HOURS: 6:30am-5:00pm MONDAY-THURSDAY.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
