Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsibility of maintaining activities of transporting product, equipment, throughout the

facility with a focus on optimizing Safety, Quality, Productivity and Spoilage.

2. Oversees team of inventory or warehouse employees.

3. Safely operation, and the maintaining of forklifts.

4. Communicates all pertinent information between departments and between shifts on changes to

equipment, production schedules, production problems or any other related information.

5. Works with department warehousing, scheduling, process supplying, and product shipments.

6. Assists and trains and/or coaching of all new operators as needed or required.

7. Complete and/or administer necessary documentation such as production sheets, pallet ticketing,

Scanning and location sheets.

8. Observe forklift operation throughout facility for safety and adherence to performance

standards.

9. Leads periodic safety meetings; ensures compliance with applicable safety standards,

regulations, and policies.

10. Ensure that all Safety rules, OSHA requirements and Company Policies are followed.

11. Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

12. All staff are responsible for Compliance with all GMP, Food Safety and Plant Safety rules while

in the processing facility. Staff are encouraged to report Food Safety and Quality concerns immediately to their supervisors and Quality representatives on shift.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Qualified individuals must be at least 18 years old to work in the food manufacturing environment. Ability to follow work instruction and keep pace of production ingredients is required. Individual must have thorough understanding of shipping policies and procedures. Effective communication skills are needed to support forklift team. This position requires incumbent to have keen attention to detail and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. The individual must be able to perform each essential job duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Individual must have good hand/eye coordination and excellent motor skills to operate necessary machinery safely.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Work in and out of cold environment.

2. 20% of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer

3. Must wear required PPE.

4. Lift up to 50 lbs.

5. Regularly required to:

- Sit

- Stand

- Walk

- Use hands

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Generally, works in a warehouse or plant environment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be exposed to moving mechanical parts/product and vehicular traffic. The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures and noises.
