Overview:

We are seeking an awesome Optometrist to join our team for 2 days a week, with flexibility on days, 9-6, 30 minute exam slots, 30 minute lunch. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional eye care services and have a strong commitment to patient satisfaction. An interest in optical and fashion would be preferred. Strong experience with contacts including multifocals would be helpful. The goal would be to grow your schedule and move to full time between the two locations.

Urban Eyecare is a 2 location boutique practice focusing on primary care and unique independent eyewear brands. We offer top tier products and exceptional customer service.

We are setup for introducing myopia control into the practice. If you are interested in launching the program we will pay a % of revenue generated from the service.

Work is confined to glasses, contacts, and mild medical (red eyes, same day emergencies, etc.). We do not take medicare or medicaid. Long term disease management is not our goal and thus we do not have a visual field. All patients are required to Optos.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and ocular health
- Diagnose and treat visual disorders and diseases
- Prescribe corrective lenses and provide guidance on proper eye care
- Perform specialized testing such as visual field testing and retinal imaging
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventative care

Requirements:

- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- State licensure to practice optometry
- Proficiency in conducting eye exams, assessing vital signs, and interpreting diagnostic tests
