Urban Colorz Salon is Hiring a Salon Receptionist Near Clackamas, OR

Job Summary:
We are seeking a customer-oriented Salon Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth salon experience.

Urban Colorz Salon is hiring for a part time receptionist. We are hiring one candidate to work Fridays from 9:30am-5:30pm and also be available to fill in for sick days or vacation days for our lead receptionist when needed on Tue-Saturday. The pay starts at $19 an hour. We are a very busy salon so you will need to be able to multi task in a fast pace environment. Must be computer savvy, friendly, fashionable, efficient, self motivated and have excellent customer service. Receptionist experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients warmly and assist them with check-ins and check-outs
- Schedule appointments and manage the salon calendar efficiently. experience with Vagaro booking system is a bonus.
- Answer phone calls and address client inquiries or redirect them as necessary
- Help maintain a clean and organized salon
- Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions
- Assist with retail sales and promote salon products
- Provide information on salon services, pricing, and promotions

Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Proficiency in English; multilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, are a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Basic math skills for processing payments and transactions
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Experience in wireless or technical sales is advantageous
- Ability to conduct product demos is desirable
