Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Take and serve drink orders promptly and accurately
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Upsell drink specials and promote menu items
- Handle cash transactions and process payments using Aloha POS system
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for catering events
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the hospitality or food service industry preferred
- Knowledge of Selflane POS system is a plus
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating tips
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages
