Job Summary:

As a Cannabis Trimmer, you will work within the Cultivation Department. You will assist the Cultivation team by carrying out day-to-day processes within the grow rooms under the guidance and supervision of Cultivation management. The tasks associated with this position include but are not limited to; Trimming, De-Leafing, and Gardening. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the cannabis process, ensuring the highest quality product for our customers. crop tracking, crop documentation, performing crop production duties, labeling, cleaning, and training in accordance with the state of Michigan regulations and METRC policies and procedures.

Duties:

• Trim and Deleaf cannabis plants with precision and care to maintain quality.
• Assist in general garden maintenance tasks, including deleting, pruning, and transplanting.
• Follow standard operating procedures to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with the in house cultivation team and URB leaders to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain a positive and productive attitude while working as part of a team.
• Other duties as assigned needed/required to meet goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
• METRC compliant
• 1-2 years experience in a similar role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of growing technologies, such as lights, irrigation, soil, nutrients, and more.
• Knowledge of different cultivars and their unique growing demand.
• Ability to execute techniques consistently.
• Good documentation, inventory, and organization skills.
• Ability to keep to a tight schedule.
• Ability to maintain excellent punctuality and attendance.
• Flexibility with hours and days – must be open to working weekends, holidays, and overtime when necessary.
• Excellent verbal interpersonal communication skills to interact with team members.
• Basic weights and measurement skills, ability to operate a scale.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations.
• Must be able to work in a safety-aware environment

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time (i.e., trimming plants, potting, and regular inventory)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
