Uptown Paw Resort and Spa is hiring-entry level part time front desk associate.

We are boutique pet hotel that offers grooming boarding & daycare for dogs and cats. Our mission is to provide the highest level of luxury, safety, and comfort to our fur guests, as well as world class service and convenience to our pet parents!

This is an entry-level position with opportunity for growth! It requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, organization, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Our Client Service associates become the face of our Company as they maintain positive, professional relationships with all our clients and answering questions. We will also train you while you work with understanding pet care, safety and lots of room for fast growth in the company to bather or kennel technicians with increase in pay as other options which have even more room for growth in company. We are growing fast and have spots to fill into managerial positions.

**Job Summary:**

The Front Desk Associate serves as the welcoming face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service with an outgoing personality to interface with our clients. This position plays a crucial role in creating a positive and professional environment for both pet parents and their furry companions. The Front Desk Associate ensures efficient and friendly interactions, appointments, and client inquiries. Additionally, this role is responsible for handling email communications, Yelp reviews, client intake, and sending pictures or videos of pet progress.

**Responsibilities:**

- **Client Reception:** Greet and welcome clients and their pets in a warm and friendly manner, creating a positive first impression.

- **Appointment Scheduling:** Schedule grooming, daycare, and boarding appointments, ensuring accurate and efficient booking.

- **Client Inquiries:** Answer phone calls and address client inquiries, providing information, guidance, and assistance as needed.

- **Check-Ins and Check-Outs:** Facilitate the check-in and check-out process for pets, ensuring all necessary information is collected and recorded.

- **Payment Processing:** Handle payments, invoices, and billing inquiries accurately and securely.

- **Pet Records:** Maintain and update pet records and client information in the system.

- **Client Communication:** Effectively communicate appointment reminders and updates to clients through phone, email, or other methods.

- **Email Management:** Handle email communications promptly and professionally, responding to inquiries and providing assistance.

- **Review Responses:** Respond to Yelp reviews and client feedback in a timely and courteous manner.

- **Client Intake:** Assist in client intake procedures, collecting necessary information and providing a smooth check-in process.

- **Progress Updates:** Send pictures or videos of pet progress to clients to keep them informed and satisfied.

- **Difficult or Demanding Clients:** If a client becomes too difficult or aggressive, promptly seek assistance from the senior manager or lead groomer to ensure a safe and respectful resolution.

- **Office Maintenance:** Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and presentable.

- **Team Collaboration:** Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow.

- **Pet Handling:** Occasionally assist with handling and managing pets when needed.

**Qualifications:**

- Ability to life 50 lbs

- Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and personality types

- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.

- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and online reviews.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling client information and scheduling.

- Basic computer skills and familiarity with scheduling software.

Part-time Employee Benefits Include:
