UpTalent is Hiring an Electrical Apprentice Near Bartlesville, OK

Pay Rate: $18 / hour

Hours: 5am - 3:30pm

Job Summary:
The Winder Operator prepares machines for production by positioning guides and rolls, operates and monitors bobbin winders according to manufacturing specifications, and adjusts controls to regulate machining.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing machine for production by positioning, guides, and rolls. Operate and monitor bobbin winders
  • Set up and operate bobbin winders according to manufacturing specifications, following detailed instructions accurately
  • String wire through bobbin winders, adjust counter to necessary footage Regulating machining by setting and adjusting controls.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail for quality inspection purposes Attention to detail
  • Able to read & follow work instructions Must have good hand-eye coordination Winding experience
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is preferred

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of relevant experience

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
