Upstream Inspections is Hiring a Vehicle Inspector Near Cheboygan, MI

This is a terrific pay per inspection contract position and can be either a part-time entry level opportunity or a full-time position for qualified candidates who are motivated to gain additional business. In this career path, you will have the ability to learn and develop your existing knowledge of cars or utilize your existing skills in a profession that is thriving. This position is responsible for accurately inspecting and photographing vehicles as defined by company standards. Some travel and flexibility are required as most photos are shot on location at dealerships and auctions. Key Responsibilities

Capture and process electronic images of vehicles
Upload all pictures associated with condition reports (CR).
Verify the quality and accuracy of each image
Check and identify vehicles for frame damage, flood damage, and sludge
Check vehicles for previous repairs and damages
Re-image or request re-imaging of any substandard images
Travel to location where inspections are performed

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience in digital and computer processing a plus
Basic computer software skills are preferred
Ability to use a tablet and/or iPad preferred
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks, manual dexterity
Knowledge of vehicles or a passion for vehicles preferred
Vision abilities required, must be able to identify defects up close and from a distance, depth perception necessary
Attention to details necessary

Compensation:

Pay per inspection
Mileage allowance
Reimbursement for fuel and any travel related expenses

Experience:

sales: 1 year (Preferred)
account management: 1 year (Preferred)
inspection: 1 year (Preferred)
customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
