UpStateMFG is Hiring an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician Near Spartanburg, SC
Responsibilities:
- Experience and good working knowledge of processing manufacturing
- Ability to trouble shoot and perform repairs to PLC’s.
- Handles electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repairs.
- Installs new equipment.
- Purchases parts for inventory in order to expedite repair work. Organizes spare parts inventory to allow quick retrieval.
- Maintains good housekeeping, 5S and safety practices in work area.
Skill requirements
- PLC trouble shooting and programming
- Electrical/electronic troubleshooting
- Computer literate
- Microsoft Excel
- High school or GED diploma, with some technical maintenance classes, certification preferred
- 4 years maintenance work experience, preferably in the chemical industry
- Strong background in electrical, PLC and mechanical repairs.
- Able to read schematics and blueprints.
