Upstate Veterinary Specialties (UVS) is a privately owned, specialty and emergency veterinary practice located in the Capital District of upstate New York. Our mission is to help our patients live longer, happier lives through expert medical care and compassionate customer service.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Veterinary Cleaning Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning cages to prepare them for incoming hospitalized patients
• Helping to maintain the cleanliness of the clinic as a whole, with tasks including but not limited to; 
  sweeping, cleaning exam rooms, emptying garbage, vacuuming, etc. This may include cleaning animal waste from exam rooms, treatment, and other areas when accidents occur.
• Stocking
• Unpacking Inventory
• Cleaning bathrooms as needed
• Cleaning and disinfecting dishes
• Keeping up with laundry (wash, dry, fold, and put away)
• Cleaning animal waste in yard
• Replacing animal’s bedding when soiled
• Check and restock supply areas as directed by an Assistant/LVT/DVM

Schedule: Sunday to Wednesday 6:00pm to 4:30am
