Who are we?Upstate Veterinary Specialties (UVS) is a privately owned, specialty and emergency veterinary practice located in the Capital District of upstate New York. Our mission is to help our patients live longer, happier lives through expert medical care and compassionate customer service. 

What are we looking for?

We are looking to add an additional Cleaning Professional to the team. This position is responsible for cleaning all non-treatment areas, deep cleaning, and trash removal.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Clean restrooms 
• Clean opened office areas/conference rooms and cubicles 
• Clean break room/kitchen 
• Clean Main Entry/Lobby 
• Clean Hallways/Lobby 
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role
• Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
• Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components

Schedule: Tuesday through Friday 6:00pm to 4:30am
