GENERAL PURPOSE:

To provide superior phone service to clients and resolve client concerns.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Answer multiple line phone system.
• Transfer calls quickly and accurately.
• Familiarity of all Network Sites, infrastructure and protocols.
• Assist in emergency situations by expediting calls to triage staff members.
• Knowledge of extension numbers to reach employees throughout the network.
• Utilize voice mail and paging system.
• Assist clients with directions to network hospitals.
• Troubleshoot problem calls.
• Understanding of the Appointment Scheduler for exams and procedures.
• Answer general veterinary Information questions regarding the Hospital.
• Inform and assist clients about our website and how to navigate it.
• Cross train to work other areas of the Client Service Department when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 year working within a veterinary CSR environment preferred.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
