Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our assisted living facility as a Dietary and Housekeeping Services Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the overall well-being of our residents by ensuring their dietary needs are met and maintaining a clean, comfortable living environment.

Responsibilities:

1. **Dietary Services:**

- Serve nutritious meals that align with residents' dietary requirements and preferences.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to accommodate special dietary needs, considering allergies, dietary restrictions, and medical conditions.

- Monitor and manage inventory of food supplies, ensuring freshness and compliance with health and safety standards.

2. **Housekeeping Services:**

- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents.

- Perform regular housekeeping duties, including but not limited to cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and dining spaces.

- Follow established cleaning protocols and infection control measures to uphold a high standard of hygiene.

3. **Communication and Collaboration:**

- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to understand and address individual preferences and concerns.

- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless coordination between dietary and housekeeping services.

4. **Regulatory Compliance:**

- Stay informed about and adhere to relevant health and safety regulations, dietary guidelines, and industry best practices.

- Maintain accurate records related to dietary plans, cleaning schedules, and any incidents.

5. **Continuous Improvement:**

- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in services and suggest innovative solutions to enhance the overall living experience for residents.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in dietary services, housekeeping, or a related field preferred but we will train the right candidate!

- Knowledge of nutrition, food safety, and sanitation practices.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Compassionate and patient approach when dealing with residents.
