Upstate Services Group is Hiring a Maintenance Director Near Albany, NY
Director of Maintenance
This is a full time, salaried, department head position.
Work Hours : Generally 8am-4:30pm with some weekends and off hours coverage required.
Education: Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Job Knowledge: Must have knowledge in the following areas for repair and preventative maintenance.
- Electrical repairs
- Plumbing
- Heating and air conditioning
- Carpentry
- Medical equipment general repairs
Must be able to assess, diagnose and correct general maintenance problems.
Responsibilities: Direct a small team of 2-3 maintenance workers. Complete preventative maintenance schedules, work orders, and inspections as required with documentation including but not limited to:
- Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly check of equipment.
- Complete necessary repairs and / or cleaning of equipment.
- Testing of various equipment as assigned.
- Carry pager for emergency on the off shifts.
- Snow Removal and grounds
·Complete general maintenance and repairs of the building , grounds and equipment including but not limited to: Wall repair and painting; Tiles, Floors, and ceilings; Resident Room equipment; All Plumbing and fixtures; Kitchen Equip.; Medical equipment
Great benefits and work environment. Health care experience strongly preferred.
