UpSlope Advisors is seeking a well-skilled System Engineering Technical Assistant to support our clients GEOINT Service Customer Support Division. This role will provide support services and requires the ability to provide advisory assistance spanning across the lifecycle acquisition management process.

Overall responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide advice to the Government in complying with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and supplements from the DoD, IC, and Agency.
• Aid in the development of acquisition strategies for new and follow on contracts.
• Aid in the development and execution of outreach/engagement strategies for new and existing geospatial offerings
• Aid in the development and execution of communications/ marketing strategies for new and existing geospatial offerings
• Configuration management support—provide acquisition assistance to engineering review boards and configuration management boards.
• Evaluate recommendations regarding the use of relational database concepts, architecture, and design.
• Responsible for reviewing major milestones and deliverables
• Provide system security advice for multiple sites and systems, and recommend, implement, maintain, and review security documents and policies.
• Advise on the technical sufficiency, accuracy, and completeness of acquisition studies, plans, and documents.
• Plan, conduct, monitor, and control programs, projects, portfolios, and acquisition support.
• Assist in the establishment of processes and procedures for managing portfolios.
• Evaluate programs and project performance across the organization and make comprehensive recommendations to the Government.
• Facilitate and support Government program meetings, reviews, and off-sites.
• Review needs analysis to recommend current and future program and project requirements.
• Support the scientific research and development (R&D) of new GEOINT technology including sensor hardware, processing software, applications, and algorithms.
  Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Engineering or similar 
• Marketing experience including the ability to create and distribute valuable, relevant, and consistent content.
• Outreach experience including the ability to brainstorm potential partnerships or methods for engagement.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• GEOINT or geospatial certification

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

• Experience supporting federal geospatial programs.

Security Requirement:

• Top Secret Clearance required upon hire
