Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Demolition Worker to join our team. As a Demolition Worker, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently demolishing structures and preparing sites for new construction projects. This is a physically demanding role that requires knowledge of various demolition techniques and the ability to operate power tools.
Duties:
- Perform demolition tasks, including but not limited to, tearing down walls, removing flooring, carpets, dismantling roofs, and breaking up concrete ETC
- Safely operate power tools and heavy machinery such as jackhammers, saws.
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Dispose of debris and waste materials in accordance with local regulations
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper site preparation for new projects
- Assist with general construction tasks as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in demolition or related construction fields is preferred
- Knowledge of demolition techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with power tools and heavy machinery used in demolition work
- Experience in flooring installation, carpentry, drywall, or roofing is beneficial
Skills:
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Attention to detail to ensure safety and accuracy in demolition tasks
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently
- Good communication skills to follow instructions and collaborate with colleagues
