PART TIME
As the Volunteer Coordinator | FOH, you'll play a vital role in setting the table for each person to encounter the presence of God at UPPERROOM Dallas. You will be responsible to build a team through recruiting, equipping and empowering volunteers. You will be key in creating a place of connection and service for those attending our weekend services and for every volunteer on campus. Your teams will flow seamlessly from the parking lot to the prayer room.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and EXPECTATIONS:
-Serve at all three services on the weekend.
-Cast vision, recruit, equip and empower leaders of serve teams. 
-Cast vision, recruit, equip, and empower volunteers for weekend services, including Saturday, Sunday morning, and Sunday night.
-Create training workflows for the onboarding of volunteers, ensuring they are set-up for success in their roles.
-Build a celebratory culture of honor that strengthens retention and mobilizes volunteers in a spirit of joy.
-Oversee budget for volunteer-related expenses, including training, background checks, and event costs.
-Monitor building capacity during services and direct overflow traffic as needed.

-Prepare and manage overflow room setup-Serve as the point person for recruiting volunteers for special events.
OVERSIGHT OF TEAMS:
-Host Team: Create and steward a culture of welcoming and hosting every person who enters our property.
-Hospitality Team: Preparing the prayer room with tissues and communion cups. Preparing a place of connection for volunteers with preservice coffee and snacks.
-Parking Team: Creating and managing logistical entrance, parking and exiting of guest vehicles. Creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere of first encounters beginning in the parking lot. 
-Watchmen: Creating a safe atmosphere with discerning eyes that are trained to observe, discern and report any unusual behavior or threats to security.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Strong communication and vision casting skills.
-Love for people with a servant heart.
-Leadership development and understanding of a culture of honor.
-Ability to create systems to recruit, train, and manage volunteers effectively.
-Proficiency with Planning Center and other relevant software.
-Experience in event planning and budget management.
-Knowledge of church operations and volunteer management preferred.
-Position entails mandatory weekend-heavy responsibilities.
-Passion for serving and welcoming others.
