About the Registered Nurse Role

Upperline Health is seeking a Registered Nurse with pre, post and operating room experience for our outpatient surgery located in Roswell, Georgia. The candidate's primary role will be as a circulating operating room nurse provide nursing care in a procedural setting to our patients but may also need to function as well as the Pre-operative and the PACU nurse when needed. They must be able to manage the overall operating room as to ensure a safe and comfortable atmosphere. The successful candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate compassion for patients, have great attention to detail, and communicate well with team members. Responsibilities will be varied, and candidate should be a multitalented, flexible problem solver who is eager to tackle complex problems and tasks. Job Responsibilities

· Educating the patient on any pre-operative instructions leading up to the procedure

· Ensure that the patient’s paperwork is completed and signed

· Interview and assess the patient on the day of the procedure

· Manage the operating procedure room as to ensure a safe and comfortable environment

· Assist physician and team as needed

· Instruct the patient and patient’s family with post-procedure care (discharge orders)

· Ensure that the patient is comfortable throughout their pre, post and intra procedural experience

Experience Requirement

· Graduation from an accredited nursing program
​ ​ Operating Room experience a Minimum two years: Mandatory.

Pre-op experience a Minimum one year: Preferred.

· PACU/recovery room experience: Preferred
