UPMC Mercy Hospital is currently searching for a Professional Staff Nurse to work casual hours supporting our IV Team! This role will work 2 shifts per week, primarily night shifts between the hours of 6:30pm-6:30am, but options to rotate to daylight are available as well as the option to work either 8 hour or 12-hour shifts. The UPMC Mercy IV Team specializes in vascular access insertion and care, which includes inserting peripheral lines, midlines and PICC lines. In addition, the IV Team provides educational support to the nursing units and patients, helping to explain procedures, answer questions, ad provide pre- and post-procedure guidance. The nurse in this role should have previous experience in ultrasound guided vascular access, midline and PICC placement. These skills could also be trained to nurses who have at least 1 year of previous Critical Care, Emergency or Interventional Radiology nurse experience.

Pay rate will be determined based upon education and nursing experience.
