In this position you will have the opportunity to:
Complete medical necessity reviews * Participate in rounds and huddles * Coordinate care of patients within the hospital * Work with patients, lay caregivers and multidisciplinary team to develop safe and appropriate discharge plans using available resources.
Weekend/holiday expectation: Work approximately one weekend/month with a day off the week before and a day off the week after. Weekend hours are either 8:30 am to 5:00 pm or 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. Holidays are mostly voluntary.
