UPMC Children's Hospital is looking for a Full-Time Patient Care Technician to work in our 7A Cardiac Acuity Adaptable Unit.
Availability to work rotating shifts as well as weekends is required for this position.
The hired candidate's title and rate of pay will be based on their individual education and experience. We offer a robust career ladder for patient care support positions that begins with the Nursing Assistant title and leads to a Patient Care Technician - Lead.
The starting rate of pay for a Nursing Assistant is $17.58 / hour.
1 year of general healthcare experience 6 months of experience as UPMC Nursing Assistant / CNA with PCT competency achieved within days of hire / transfer / promotionEnrollment in a nursing program with completion of at least 1 clinical rotation requiredCompletion of a bachelor's degree in a health sciences field
