Uplift Kidz is Hiring a Behavior Technician Near Lewisville, TX

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy and support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions
- Assist with patient assessment and development of treatment goals
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
- Support individuals in daily activities, including personal care, as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions and client progress
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other team members

Skills:
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder preferred
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people with autism and their families
- Ability to provide patient care with empathy, compassion, and patience
- Proficient in data collection and analysis
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices

We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our Behavior Technicians. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility in scheduling.
