Job Title: Dental Treatment Coordinator (Sales Experience Required)

Overview:

We seek a dynamic and organized Treatment Coordinator t to join our growing dental practice. As a Treatment Coordinator at Uplift Dental and Orthodontics, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. You will work with various dental specialties, including General Dentistry, Pedodontics, Periodontics, and Orthodontics, making it essential to have a basic understanding of these fields. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is friendly, well-spoken, and committed to providing a welcoming and efficient experience for our patients. This role also involves assisting with outreach efforts and handling general receptionist duties.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to meet the physical requirements and demands of an active position, including but not limited to the extended duration of standing, walking, stooping, bending, and sitting; manual dexterity; good eye-hand coordination; visual abilities (depth perception, ocular focus, close vision, color vision, and peripheral vision), and adequate hearing to perform daily work. Adjust physically and emotionally to a spontaneous, fast-paced, and hectic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Treatment Plan Presentation: Collaborate with dentists and orthodontists to create comprehensive patient treatment plans.

Effectively communicate treatment options, procedures, and benefits to patients clearly and understandably.
Address patient questions and concerns regarding their treatment plans.

  • Financial Consultation: Discuss financial responsibilities and payment options with patients.

Provide transparent and detailed cost breakdowns, including insurance coverage and out-of-pocket expenses.
Assist patients in understanding and choosing suitable financial arrangements.

  • Payment Collection: Collect payments from patients for services rendered.

Ensure accurate billing and adherence to financial agreements.
Maintain organized records of payments received.

  • Patient Relations: Foster positive patient relationships by delivering exceptional customer service.

Address any patient inquiries or issues promptly and professionally.
Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients.

  • Office: Assist in outreach efforts to attract new patients, such as managing social media profiles or coordinating marketing materials.

Work collaboratively with the dental team, including dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants, to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in dental or orthodontic treatment coordination is highly preferred but not required.
  • Sales experience required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex treatment plans and financial details.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-centric attitude.
  • Proficiency in dental software and office management tools is highly preferred but optional.
  • Knowledge of dental insurance policies and billing procedures is highly preferred but optional.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Must be a team player and work collaboratively with the dental team.
