Job Type: Part Time Dance Instructor

Uplift Acrobatics, a Dance studio located in Springfield, VT is hiring for the 2024-2025 dance season, this position will begin in September 2024 with potential to start as early as July 2024, if desired. We are an Acrobatic Arts Certified studio!

The successful candidate will be versatile, confident, reliable, encouraging, positive, uplifting and friendly. Possessing a strong passion for the art of dance, the successful candidate will naturally motivate students to reach their full Dance potential through both creative and highly technical and progressive training.

Instructors meeting minimum hourly requirements receive:

• Two paid vacation weeks per school year
• Paid snow days
• A paid day off on birthday
• Paid staff Meetings
• Competitive wage based on experience

Requirements:

• Must be able to commit to September - June (2024-2025)
• Must be able to choreograph
• Must be able to teach children of all ages (3 ) and adults
• Must have a strong background in Ballet, Jazz, Acro and Contemporary - other styles are a plus!

A certification in Aerial Hoop/Aerial Silks is a plus, but not a requirement.
