Contractors Steel Company powered by UPG is a growing steel service center. Contractors Steel is looking to hire a Crane Operator to join our dynamic team! Successful candidates will have ideally worked in the steel industry (but not required) and have a solid level of experience with the types of specialized products and services produced by steel service centers. We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate that is eager to learn and grow in this fast-paced environment. Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Loading coil stock to machines for processing
• Loading and unloading of truck traffic on a timely basis
• Safe handling and storage of steel stock
• Maintain clean area of scrap tails from slitters.
• Retrieving stock to be processed

Position Requirements

• 1 year of experience with overhead crane operations in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Good depth perception
• Knowledge of steel types preferred.
