Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday thru Thursday)

Pay: Starting at $27/hour plus shift premium

Principal Functions of the Position:

This Shell Rock, IA Painter position involves providing production-painting functions for various production units, sub-assemblies, components, and service parts.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Application of the actual coating solution (wet paint) to various finished production units, sub-assemblies, components, and service parts with a 6 lb. pneumatic spray gun.
• Apply appropriate surface coverage on parts of varying shapes, sizes, and configurations.
• Ensure proper thickness and consistency of coating being applied to the part surfaces.
• Spend 65% of the work hours manually coating (spraying) parts
• Touchup coating (spraying) of parts; changing out spray guns, making color changeovers and moving product in and out of paint booths.

Physical Demand:

• Full range of motion in arms, legs and shoulders
• Solid hand/eye coordination in order to properly assemble small components
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Pre- Requisitions:

• High school diploma (or GED)
• Able to successfully complete all applicable OSHA and company sponsored trainings
