The Senior Unreal Engine Project Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering game development projects leveraging Unreal Engine. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent knowledge of Unreal Engine, and a deep understanding of the game development lifecycle. The Senior Unreal Engine Project Manager will oversee multiple project teams and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality game experiences.
Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple game development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, artists, and quality assurance professionals to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, and track project performance against these plans.
• Facilitate communication within the team and with stakeholders to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding project status and expectations.
• Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle.
• Implement project management tools and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, and anticipate potential obstacles.
• Work closely with the team to ensure effective use of Unreal Engine for game development.
• Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements to improve future projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Project Management, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of project management experience, preferably in game development.
• Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Unreal Engine.
• Deep understanding of the game development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience managing remote and international teams.
• Understanding of 3D modeling, animation, and other aspects of game design.
This position is primarily office-based but may require travel to meet with different teams and stakeholders. Extended hours may be required during critical project milestones.
