The Department of Film and Digital Arts within the College of Fine Arts anticipates hiring Adjunct Faculty to teach courses in the fall 2023 and spring 2024 semesters. Openings potentially include the following subjects:
Video Production, Producing, Promotional Video, Digital Post Production, Visual Effects, Animation, Screenwriting, Virtual Reality, Cinematography, Directing, Editing, Film History, Introduction to Film Studies, Game Design or Development, and other film and digital arts related production topics, or film history and criticism topics.
Positions are contingent upon need each semester as determined by student enrollment levels, current course offering matrix, and demand driven by graduation requirements. Positions may be filled or eliminated each semester up to the deadline for students to drop or add courses. Candidates who are selected for these positions will report to the Department Chair.
Wages
Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Film and Digital Arts are compensated on the basis of credit-hour course loads. As of May 1, 2023, a three credit course will be compensated at $4,456.19.

November 15, 2023 for spring 2024 semester.
