Tasks include: sorting through field collected pitfall trap samples of spiders stored in ethanol; identification of spiders in samples to the species level; tabulation of counts of spiders by species and size class per sample; entry of data onto hard-copy data forms, and entry of the hard-copy data form data into an MS Excel spreadsheet; preparation of specimen labels using MS Word; preparation of reference collection specimens. Training will be provided.
