As a vital member of our dedicated canine care team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging enrichment activities to enhance the physical and mental well-being of our furry companions. This role is perfect for individuals with a deep understanding of canine behavior, a creative mindset, and a genuine love for enriching the lives of dogs.

Responsibilities:

• Enrichment Program Development.
• Complete a variety of enrichment activities tailored to different breeds, ages, and personalities.
• Follow the structured schedule for daily enrichment sessions that cater to the physical, mental, and sensory needs of dogs.

Observation and Assessment:

• Regularly observe dogs to assess their individual needs and preferences.
• Modify enrichment programs based on feedback, observations, and evolving knowledge of canine behavior from Sr. Trainers or Managers
• Training and Socialization:
• Facilitate group play sessions to promote positive socialization among dogs.
• Provide basic obedience training as part of the enrichment program.
• Facilitate birthday parties
• Promote a fun and engaging environment

Record Keeping:

• Maintain detailed records of each dog's enrichment activities, behavior, and progress via the software system for report cards.
• Update photos and videos to the client profile
• Communicate effectively with other team members, including veterinarians and handlers, to ensure comprehensive care.

Environmental Enrichment:

• Develop strategies to enhance the living environment of dogs, including the introduction of stimulating toys, scent trails, and interactive elements.
• Develop fun field trip options for clients and small group packs

Client Education:

• Create a high end welcoming experience for clients and guests at the front desk and throughout the center
• Educate dog owners on the importance of enrichment activities and provide guidance on how to continue these practices at home.

Health and Safety:

• Monitor the health and safety of dogs during enrichment activities.
• Report any signs of illness or behavioral concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensure all records are up to date for your enrichment pod

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with dogs in a professional capacity.
• Strong knowledge of canine behavior, breeds, and health.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Certification in dog training or a related field is a plus.
