To be successful in this position, you will be required to pay attention to detail and accuracy, which is critical in your work responsibilities, as you will be working with a fast-paced team in a company that is rapidly moving forward. This is a very hands-on position with a great deal of self-reliance required. The goal is to create value for our client end users that will help preserve the Service Desk's value and reputation.

An excellent candidate must have a strong technical interest, client service skills and be able to prioritize internal team and external client needs. They must be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution at the client level. They must also be client-oriented and patient to deal with difficult clients.

We are looking for an individual who is an IT generalist; honest, self-motivated, able to perform in an aggregate and high-pressure environment, professional and detail oriented who can grow with our company.

As a IT Integration Support Specialist, you will work directly with customers and partners providing expertise in hardware and software installations, troubleshooting and configuration recommendations. You must also have a reliable form of transportation, Internet and cell phone.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Exceptional customer service and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple calls and tickets with minimal supervision
  • Able to constantly balance multiple tickets and request in high pressure situations
  • Must be a team player and collaborate with other coworkers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and network issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic Active Directory/Window Domain issues
  • Perform proactive maintenance in PCs and Printers
  • Configure and install PCs, printers, and scanners
  • Perform first level problem determination and resolution
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate team members
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding issues and update users on the current status
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Consistently meet or exceed requirements/performance criteria
  • Recommends improvements to current environments
  • Assists with planning for and responding to client project needs when applicable
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly
  • Will be responsible for taking calls on an On-Call rotation
  • Execute other assigned tasks as delegated by Management
  • Must be punctual

Required Experience

  • AS degree or above in Computer Science or related field experience.
  • Must have 4 yrs. plus experience as an IT Helpdesk Technician
  • Basic Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office environment
  • Experience with Asset Management and ITSM Platforms
  • Excellent attitude and interpersonal skills
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of personnel
  • Detail and customer service oriented
  • Problem-solving skills to resolve issues
  • Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as needed
  • Must have strong Microsoft Windows 10 hands-on experience
  • English fluency

Preferred Experience (Not required)
Certifications including MCSE, MCITP, CCNA, CCNP and VCP
