The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking outstanding individuals to join the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine at UT Southwestern and Children's Health Dallas. Eligible applicants will join the growing Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine Division, which typically covers two inpatient services. Faculty members also work in outpatient Pulmonary clinics at Children's Health. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Candidates should have a record of academic success and commitment to excellence in patient care and teaching. Interest in niche conditions such as rare lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and bronchopulmonary dysplasia is a bonus. Attractive packages and excellent support are available for those experienced in basic, clinical, or translational research. Training in Sleep Medicine is available.Selected candidates must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas and be Board eligible or certified in Pediatric Pulmonology.
Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
